Ward Pemberton [Design]
Working for Williams, he took over the Gilligan's Island design after the sudden death of the original designer, Dan Langlois [Karate Fight, Black Belt, Strange Science, Escape from the Lost, World, Heavy Metal Meltdown, Game Show, and Radical].

After leaving Williams, Mr. Pemberton went back to being a firefighter. After spending a short time at Capcom Pinball later, he worked for Sega pinball, designing Goldeneye.

Apparently, he is out of the pin-biz entirely, and back serving his community as a firefighter, at a station in Chicago.

Allegedly, Ward is the model for one of the figures appearing on the backglass of Black Rose.

Did you know that his name appears on the Fathom playfield? Guess where – «Pemberton» is written on the oxygen cylinder of the diver.

Also worked on:

  • BMX [Bally, 1982]
  • HARDBODY [Bally, 1987]
  • DUGEONS & DRAGONS [Bally, 1987]
  • MOUSIN' AROUND! [Williams, 1989]
  • RIVERBOAT GAMBLER [Williams, 1989]
  • GILLIGAN'S ISLAND [Williams, 1991]
  • GOLDEN EYE [Sega, 1996]
